May 25, 2021 – Daria Gerasimova will be delivering a presentation about “Big Tech, Regulation of the Internet and Free Speech. A discussion of recent litigation and developments” in the New York City Bar Foreign & Comparative Law Committee
April 15, 2021 – Special Announcement from HSLD&G We are pleased to introduce Daria Gerasimova who has recently joined our firm as an Associate Attorney effective April 15th, 2021. Daria graduated with honors from City, University of London in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining our firm Daria worked in the UK and Russia We are delighted that she has joined our firm and we look forward to her bringing her experience and education in her new role.

2020 – Special Announcement from HSLD&G Our Firm congratulates John P. Lynch for winning the Carlton F. Thompson/Sandford P. Tannenhaus Award this year. We are proud that the legal community has recognized John for the same outstanding ethical and professional conduct that we have been privileged to work with for so many years.
2020 – John Lynch presented a legal update to the membership of the Southern Tier Chapter of ASBO New York covering paid leave for voting, the Juneteenth holiday, Superintendent hearing officer decisions and mandatory COVID-19 testing in “yellow zones.”
In a decision with potential statewide significance John Lynch successfully defended the Watkins Glen Central School District in a case brought by The New York State United teachers claiming the District’s re-opening plan violated executive orders when three of four teachers requesting remote teaching were denied. Each teacher was given another accommodation. The Court found in favor of the school district.
